General Information

Full Service :
As a full service private chef we can coordinate every aspect of your event, including service, china, flowers, linens, equipment and furniture rental and, of course, the bar.


Planning and Budgeting:
After our initial discussions we will come up with a party plan to meet your needs. Each part of the contract will be itemized so you can see how much each part of the event costs. That way there are no surprises.


Menu:
Our menu changes with the seasons so we can take advantage of the freshest ingredients available. But we are always willing to make your special dish for your special event.

Pricing:
We reserve the right to adjust prices on published menu items based on market fluctuations and item availability. Price changes may not be reflected on our menus. We will make every effort to communicate price changes when your order is placed.


Food Allergies:
Deborah Kilday Private Chef 
makes no guarantees, implied or otherwise, that cross contamination has not occurred with ingredients not specifically listed.

Beverage Service:
We can coordinate all aspects of the bar; including ordering the liquor, arranging for delivery and returns. We can also provide liquor liability insurance for $2.50 a guest. We can also provide bartenders and rent glassware.


Staff:
Our staff makes your event special. Travel time is billed at 1/2 hour per server. The service hours are figured according to the length of the event, plus set-up and breakdown.


Equipment:
We can coordinate all of the rental arrangements including tables, chairs, tents, and glassware.


Terms of Contract:
We do require a deposit in order to reserve the date of your event. If your event is within two months a deposit of 50% of the estimated total is requested. If your event is more than two months away a deposit of $500.00 is requested in order to secure the date requested.


Guest Count:
In order to guarantee the proper amount of food, service and equipment, we need a final guest count five (5) business days prior to your event.


Taxes:
All costs are subject to a 6.25% Massachusetts sales tax.
